In addition to routine care, our board-certified doctors provide a variety of specialized services with an emphasis on education, prevention and wellness.
Dr. Nora Arronte, MD
Born in Miami, Florida and raised in New York City, Nora Arronte earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and chemistry from Duke University.
She returned to New York City to complete her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College where she discovered her passion for obstetrics and gynecology with an interest in women’s health and surgery. At the completion of her medical degree, she received the George Ladas Prize for Efficiency in Gynecology.
Fluent in Spanish, Nora performed her training at the University of Virginia, where she served as the Administrative Chief Resident and was awarded several accolades in both student and resident teaching. She also received an award for excellence in endoscopic procedures.
Nora’s professional interests include general wellness and prevention, low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, pelvic floor reconstruction, and minimally invasive surgery, including use of the da Vinci robot.
Outside of work, Nora and her husband, Julian, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Ana Lucia. Nora and her husband came to Charlotte because of their shared love for city life, but also because it is a good place to build a family. They also enjoy participating in the church community of Saint Gabriel’s Catholic Church, spending time with friends, traveling, cooking and trying new restaurants.
Dr. Philip DeHoff, MD
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Philip DeHoff attended college at the University of Florida. While there, he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society, one of the most prestigious academic honor societies in the United States.
It was during college that he first became interested in obstetrics and gynecology when his first daughter, Christie, was born. Philip earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
After medical school, he moved to Charlotte to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. After completing his residency, he stayed in the Queen City and became part of Providence OB/GYN.
Phil was named one of North Carolina's best doctors by Business North Carolina in 2013. He has also been included in the Best Doctors in America 2014 database.
Philip has two daughters, Christie and Katy. Christie is a registered nurse, while Katy is a recent graduate of Elon University and now works for Morgan Row. His hobbies include reading, travel, shooting and physical fitness.
Cherry Graves, NP
Cherry Graves was born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and raised in Hattiesburg, MS. She attended William Cary College where she graduated with a bachelor's of science degree in Nursing. She went on to receive her master's of science in nursing-dual program as a primary care family nurse practitioner program and women’s health nurse practitioner program from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
While completing her clinical training at Duke Medical Center in the maternal-fetal medicine department and labor and delivery triage unit, she fell in love with the women's health profession. After graduation, she earned her certification as a women's health nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner.
Cherry spent 2 years working in a family practice and 2 years working in a weight-loss clinic. Her most recent job was spent working at Gulfport OB/GYN for 2.5 years on the Gulf Coast. She is extremely thankful for the guidance and training she learned from her good friend and colleague, Donielle Daigle, who is an OB/GYN on the Gulf Coast. There she found her true passion, and realized that caring for women in all stages of life made her career as a Nurse Practitioner most rewarding.
New to Charlotte, Cherry has found time to engage her new community through being involved in her kids school and activities, joining the YMCA and attending a women's bible study weekly. Cherry enjoys running, hot yoga and is never too far from a medical journal or book. Most of all, she enjoys time with her husband, Brian, and their 3 children, Jackson, Eli and Bella.
Dr. Kathryn Hull, MD
Dr. Kathryn Hull was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia as a Foundation Fellow. Through the Fellowship, she was able to travel extensively while pursuing degrees in microbiology and romance languages. After graduation, Kathryn spent a year at the National Institutes of Health doing research before beginning medical school at the Medical College of Georgia.
During her time at MCG, she served as the president of her class and discovered her love of women’s health care. Kathryn chose obstetrics and gynecology because it gave her the opportunity to provide a wide range of services to women throughout their lives. After completing her MD, Kathryn moved to Richmond, Virginia to train at VCU Medical School. While in residency, she received several awards for student and resident teaching, as well as the department’s Compassion in Medicine Award.
Upon completing her training in 2010, Kathryn returned to Savannah and began work as an OB/GYN with SouthCoast Medical Group. Since starting her practice, she has been an active member of the medical community and served on several group and hospital committees, including quality assurance, credentialing, and chart review. Professionally, Kathryn is particularly interested in adolescent healthcare, menopause, wellness promotion, mental health, preventive care, and laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery.
When not at work, Kathryn loves to entertain and cook, especially with seasonal ingredients. She is an avid reader who has been known to read a book cover-to-cover in one sitting, and also enjoys concerts and the arts. Kathryn loves to be outside, go for walks in local green spaces, and go hiking in the mountains of western North Carolina. She plans to do more traveling in the States and abroad to continue expanding her horizons.
Dr. Tiffani Jones, MD
Born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan, Tiffani Jones attended Kentucky State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in biology and liberal studies.
During her time there, she was an outstanding student-athlete on the track and field team. Tiffani went on to receive her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee where she graduated with honors and participated in a plethora of community projects, including sickle disease awareness and teen pregnancy prevention.
Her decision to pursue obstetrics and gynecology was a result of enjoying the complexity of taking care of women, her love for the joys of new life in obstetrics and the operatives of gynecology.
She completed her residency at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana. While there, she served on the Maternal Fetal Health Committee as well as several teen pregnancy prevention programs in the city.
Tiffani’s professional specialties include dysfunctional bleeding, adolescents, obesity, minimally invasive surgical procedures and office surgical procedures.
Outside of the office, Tiffani enjoys traveling, golfing, shopping, running and spending time with her husband, Thaddeus, their daughter Gavyn and son, Greyson. She also enjoys participating in community outreach programs, speaking at events educating the public on women’s health and wellness and participating in the Queen City’s medical and social communities.
Dr. Christopher Morris, MD
A graduate of South Mecklenburg High School, Christopher Morris went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a member of the swimming and diving team and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
He attended medical school at UNC’s School of Medicine, where he was awarded the James Bell Bullitt Award by his classmates for outstanding achievements and contributions to the medical school community. He was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
After graduating, Christopher completed his residency at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and was awarded the Charles E. Flowers Award for Excellence in Teaching. In 2001, he returned to Charlotte to join Providence OB/GYN.
Christopher special certifications include membership in the North American Menopause Society and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. He is also a member of the Novant Health Center of Excellence in minimally invasive gynecological surgery.
Voted Top Doctor by Charlotte Magazine in 2012 and 2013, Christopher is a member of the Presbyterian Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and the Novant Health Women’s Council.
Christopher’s clinical interests include low and high-risk pregnancy, twins and pregnancy after In vitro fertilization (IVF). Christopher also takes interest in helping those with menopause and performing minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery.
Outside of the office, Christopher enjoys mountain biking, hiking and skiing. When he isn’t outdoors, he also enjoys yoga and spending time with his wife, Dr. Krista Morris, and their three children, Jake, Sarah and Ellie.
Dr. Lisa Wilson, MD
From a young age, Lisa Wilson knew she wanted to be a doctor. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, she earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Wittenberg University and attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Medicine.
While completing her third year of medical school, Lisa decided to pursue obstetrics and gynecology due to the variety of care she could provide to women throughout their lives.
After completing medical school, Lisa moved to Charleston, South Carolina. where she completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. While there, she received several awards for excellence in medical student education as well as the Lawrence L. Hester Award for outstanding academic excellence.
Lisa’s professional interests include high and low risk obstetrics, contraceptive counseling and management, minimally invasive surgery and preventative care for women of all ages.
Before joining Providence OB/GYN, Lisa practiced in Charleston for two years. In 2009, she moved to Charlotte with her husband, Jason, who is a gastroenterologist. They enjoy Charlotte for the opportunities and events a big city offers while maintaining a small-town feel. They live in the Myers Park area with their two children, Evan and Aidan. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with her family.
