8 Baby Shower Favors that Your Guests Will Actually Use
You want to give the special people in your life a little “thank you” for showering you and your baby with gifts. We put together some baby shower favors that your guests may actually use.
You are surrounded by love during your baby shower. You’ve had family and friends, near and far, come to celebrate you and your precious little one. Now you want to show your gratitude for all the gifts and love.
“It is always kind to give a little baby shower favor to your loved ones when they’re leaving your baby shower,” says Lisa Wilson, a physician with Novant Health Providence OB/GYN. “We want to give you several gift ideas that are special and useful for your family and friends.”
From Your Shower to Theirs
Give the gift of soft and refreshed skin!
There are several different gifts you can give. You can give a bath bomb, bath salts, sugar scrubs or face masks to your guests. No one can say no to a relaxation and self-care treat!
Who doesn’t love a koozie? We think they’re a great reminder of special occasions, including your baby shower.
You can personalize it with your last name along with the month and year that your baby is due. Or you can put “A Baby’s Brewing” or “Huggies and Chuggies” on the koozies.
Mini Champagne Bottles
You’re about to pop, so why shouldn’t your friends also be popping?
Send them off with little champagne bottles with a note around it saying “Pop it when she pops,” so that they can celebrate your child’s birth on the big day.
Personalized Wine Bottle Stoppers
This is another party favor that will be put to good use by your loved ones, because no one wants good wine to go to waste!
You can put the date of your baby shower on the bottle stopper or maybe the first initial of your last name to commemorate the event. We found some adorable stoppers at FavorsLTD.com.
EOS Baby Rattles
We are always a fan of lip balm and making our lips super soft. You can take the round EOS lip balm and put them in “baby rattles.” We searched Etsy and found several baby shower lip balm holders. These favors have actually become one of the newest trends on the baby shower scene.
Sweet As Honey
Your little bundle of joy will sweeten up your life, so why don’t you do the same and send your guests off with some delicious honey.
Kate Aspen has these adorable little jars filled with honey and also allows you to personalize the label.
DIY Mason Jar Cocktails
We found this idea from Something Turquoise and fell in love with it! It’s super easy to put together and will work really great for a co-ed baby shower.
All you need is mason jars, mini cans of soda and/or mini cans of Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso, mini liquor bottles and twine.
You can put a can of Coke inside the mason jar and tie a bottle of Jack Daniels to the mason jar for their own Jack and Coke. Or take the Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso and a little bottle of Baileys and you have an Irish Coffee.
“World’s Gratest Mom” Cheese Grater
What a great pun!
This is the cutest little gift that is also useful for your guests in the kitchen. This gift from Beaucoup is a set of three mini cheese graters that come with three different size holes. They come individually packed with the handle looking like a baby belly! It’s just the “gratest.”
We hope these ideas get your creative juices flowing for the perfect bridal shower favor for your guests. They will love the thought you put into your gift and hopefully they will be put to good use!
