Attention all patients: Flu season is currently peaking and the flu virus is on the rise in and around Charlotte. The most common flu symptoms include fever higher than 100.4F, chills, body aches, and fatigue. We request that you do not come in to the office if you have any of these symptoms. We do not have the ability to test for flu in our office. If you are pregnant with flu like symptoms you can go to the Novant OB/GYN Urgent Care at 6331 Carmel Road, Suite 102, Charlotte. Their phone number is 704-316-2557. Their hours are 5 PM to 9 PM Monday through Friday and 9AM to 9PM Saturday and Sunday. If you have flu like symptoms and are not pregnant you can go to your nearest Novant Urgent Care to be tested and evaluated. If your appointment is urgent and you must be seen while you still have symptoms then we ask that you wear a mask for the duration of your visit.
