Whether you just learned you are having your first baby, or you are an experienced parent with a growing family, Novant Health Providence OB/GYN is here to offer you the prenatal care and peace of mind you need during and after your pregnancy. Our providers will answer any questions you have, and monitor your health and the health of your baby to ensure as smooth of a delivery as possible. Obstetric services we offer include:

• Prenatal screenings, including genetic screening tests
• Ultrasounds (to monitor pregnancy progress)
• Lab tests, including blood and urine tests, and glucose tolerance tests)
• Midwifery care (before and during labor)
• Care for high risk pregnancies (multiple gestations; pregnancies after multiple losses; pregnancies involving hypertension, pre-eclampsia, diabetes)
• Labor and delivery care
• Postpartum care
• Surgical procedures including cesarean section (C-section) deliveries, cervical cerclage (to prevent premature labor) and dilation and curettage (D&C; to remove products of conception after miscarriage)
